November 18- December 13 This 4 week intensive course is for DJs and Hardware Live Acts. This program is for electronic artists who have their music and performance practice underway but are new to the business side. Nobody needs a polished brand, an EPK, bookings, followers, or a mailing list to join. Each call teaches the section from the ground up. Artists build as the sessions progress, using examples for both DJs and hardware live performers. The 4 week session includes two weekly group zoom calls (1 hour each) for instruction, Q&A, and deep dives. Calls are Wednesdays and Sundays at 10:00am MST/ 18:00 CET. Calls are recorded, so if you have to miss a call you don't fall behind. The course also includes a one hour 1:1 zoom session to review your final project and answer artist specific questions. Additional 1:1 mentoring sessions are available by request. The aim is a coherent artist project: a clear identity, an offer for bookers and audiences, a focused online presence, an introductory grasp of performance finances, and a plan for outreach and promotion. This complements SURCO’s performance training; it does not reteach set creation or improvisation.
